I skated for the first time today. It took me forever to learn how to go. Lot’s of falling. It’s really fun though, and worth the embarassment of falling in public…many many times.

What are you talking about this is my first time watching this video i never said anything to u.
the first time i start stake my leg keep shaking. How do i stop shaking other than relax your leg.
There are 2 ommissions in the commentary on this video. 1st, you need to be aware that your body weight must always go directly over the top of your skating leg and 2nd you need to bring up your free leg very close to the skating leg to enable smooth transfer of weight from one leg to the other. It’s all to do with keeping the line of gravity over the skating foot! You won’t be comfortable until you build up confidence and you won’t be confident till you’ve mastered gravity!
